Alek turns 4!!!

It's hard to believe how fast time goes by. My baby turned 4 on February 10 and I know he's becoming such a big boy. We were able to celebrate his birthday in Phoenix a few days early with all of his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Not an easy thing when they live in California and Arizona and we live here in Michigan. It was very special for me and although he probably didn't appreciate, it was truly special. He received way too many cars, trucks, and other vehicles, but that's what he loves. Nina was sure to help him open each gift and it's a good thing he didn't mind. We met at a park where you can ride on a train and a carrousel. It was a little cool, but how often will my little guy be able to celebrate his birthday at a park?

Trying to light the candles with the wind blowing can be a challenge.

Alek eating cake with Andre. We celebrated his birthday later that night.

Nina and Caleb licking the candles and using them as spoons.

The blue frosting on the Carvel ice cream cake had my fingers blue for 2 days.

Alek and Nina on the carrousel with Uncle Sammy.

Lyndon and Kendra taking a ride.

Alek and Caleb are having fun, really they are.

Dennis and the kids take one more train ride.

Aunt Marsha was able to ride with Nina.

His celebration at home where he received his spiderman watch. You are such a funny boy Alek and I love to see your smile and all of the faces you make. It's so much fun to watch you grow up into the little boy you were made to be. Happy 4th birthday my buddy!
