Great Wolf Lodge

We headed up to Great Wolf Lodge on December 20 this year for some water park fun. Nina of course got the flu at school on the Friday before and I was praying like crazy that no one else would come down with it. We've had too many Christmases full of sickness lately. Fortunately, no one came down with it and we had a great time up north. The kids decorated and ate cookies, made snowflakes, entered a coloring contest and learned about some of the animals in the lodge. It was a good and healthy time.

Alek drinking his chocolate milk after decorating his cookie.

Nina loading as much stuff as possible on her cookie.

The lazy river and Nina being silly!

The green slide, her favorite. I think she must have done it at least 30 times. She would take turns dragging us all up with her. Alek even did this slide once this year with Daddy.

Alek's favorite place, the hot pool!

Nina and Alek in the pool before they slid off the snake. It was okay for Nina, Alek freaked out a little bit since he couldn't touch and can't really swim yet.

In the lodge before leaving. Nina's rear is in the picture because she didn't want to cooperate. Actually, she was so tired after doing the water park so many times and not sleeping enough.

That looks like so much fun! Didn't know they had waterparks for you to go to in the middle of winter. Can't wait to see you guys this summer at the waterpark!

What a fun trip! Looks like the kids had a great time. I love that you found a place with a waterpark! I bet that was a nice break from the cold.

PS - Thanks so much for the gift card and paper dolls! Priya loves them! :)
