We had a wonderful Christmas this year and it's always fun to watch the kids enjoy themselves and to have time to just be together as a family. We went to church on Christmas Eve and then came home and took a few pictures. We had dinner and then proceeded to play Monopoly where Nina gave us all a severe beating. There were some phone calls about issues at my parents house during that time and then, it was time for bed.

Before the madness began
The kids wanted to do stockings first which contained blue painting tape for Alek. He's been swiping my masking tape and decorating the house with it. At least he has his own for a little while now.
Nina was begging for an American Girl doll. Not sure why, but she was shocked to get it. Seeing her face light up made it almost worth the price :)
Alek playing with some construction trucks Great Grandpa and Great Grandma picked up for him at a garage sale. They are great!

Alek has become a great shoveler. If there's not too much snow out there, he will do almost the whole driveway himself until Daddy tries to get snow on him with the snow blower!

I love that you got Alek blue painting tape for Christmas!!! That's awesome and quite creative! I also love your pic after all the gift opening took place. Messes like that are a rare site in your home I'm sure! I've always been amazed by how great you are at keeping everything so clean. :)
