We flew up to Mackinac on a beautiful Saturday morning. The air was calm and looking down and seeing the clear blue water really is breathtaking. We walked down from the airport and had some lunch at the Seabiscuit Cafe and headed over to the park to play for awhile. Then more food was on the mind as we had ice cream and bought our fudge for the trip home. We walked around the west side of the island and climbed up about 200 stairs to get back to the airport. It was a good, but tiring day for all of us.
The lilacs were in bloom and were quite impressive.
