Family Reunion

What an amazing time we had together. Every 2 years, we get together with my mom's side of the family. This year we gathered in Wisconsin Dells, WI. We came from 10 different states and all 45 of us had a great weekend together. This is a picture from the picnic which was beautiful. The kids played games, we ate and had a little bit of time to talk. It was a special time to be with my grandmother as well. She was able to see all 10 of her great grandchildren and all but one of her grandchildren.

The kids stayed with grandparents one night so all of us "young people" could go out. There were 12 kids under the age of 12, with 5 of them being age 2 or under. I think it was a little crazy, but we had a nice dinner without hearing "mom" once.

The waterparks, the waterparks. The resort we stayed at had 8 waterparks. We visited all but one of them. The kids couldn't get enough and probably would have been in the water even more if we let them. Here's Faith, Seth and Val playing.

Val, Faith, Paige, Nina and Alek. The kids had fun and it was fun for us to watch them play together. My cousins lived close to us for about 5 years when we were growing up and we have great memories from that time together. It's fun to watch our kids get to know each other and have their own memories, even if it is only once every 2 years.

It was a special time for a family vacation and quite tiring. The logistics got a little crazy at times, like our trip to Costco with 2 carts and a big orange flat cart full of food. Our family is blessed that we are able to get together and get along for 4 days. I know part of it is due to the many prayers of my grandma, but also to the unity we have in Christ. It was a little piece of heaven to be together for that time since we don't know what the future holds. Love you all and can't wait until we meet again!
