It's hard to believe that I have an 8 year old. On September 26, Nina turned 8. The day before, she had a fairy party with her girlfriends. We made fairy headdresses, played stomp the balloon to get the fairy dust out, and of course the fairy dress up relay. She had a great time and it was so fun to get to know her friends a little bit better. The weather was decent too, which always makes it nice!
Stomping on balloons to get fairy dust out, aka glitter!
Pixie dust relay
Sydney downed a cup full of pixie sticks in one gulp. She had a bit of a sugar high after that.
All the girls with their headdresses on.
Tinkerbell cake!
You can do it Nina!!!
Abby's present was a gift certificate, candy and nail polish!
Olivia got Nina some rings to paint.
Dressing up as a fairy, or putting all the clothes on Sydney.
The best part of Nina's birthday was that Grandma and Grandpa flew in to surprise her. She had no idea and was quite tired by the end of the day. Driving around the airport didn't make her happy and she let Dennis know it. When she saw Grandma standing there, it made it all worth it though.
