It seems like the years fly by and now by baby is 5. Wow! Alek had a pretty low key birthday full of legos, legos and more legos. He did like the nerf guns as well and was quite excited that now he and Daddy could shoot at each other. I don't get that fascination.

Blue frosting is always a good idea. You think I would have learned by now.
A few days later, we celebrated Alek's 5th birthday with his buddy Aiden who was 4 a few days later. We ate homemade pizza, had ice cream cake and a good time.
It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since you entered our lives. We are so thankful for your crazy antics and love for life. Happy birthday to my favorite little man!

Happy Birthday Alek!!! Sounds like a lot of fun. How did you make the lego cake? Did you have a special pan or did you do it all on your own?
I cut a 9x13 cake and then put oreos on top. Not ingenious, but it worked and he was happy, so that's all that matters :)
