The last weekend in February we headed over to Chicago for a small getaway. The reason was mainly to visit the lego discovery center for Alek's belated birthday present. So we stayed out in Shaumburg where I could get my fill of shopping. Of course the hotel had a pool for the kiddos. We had a good time relaxing and just getting away for a few days.

We also went to the Museum of Science and Industry. They have some of the neatest things in there. We could have easily stayed longer with all there was to do an see. The John Deere tractors were a highlight as were the airplanes. We we able to "see" a tornado as well. What an awesome place!
