We've started a kind of a tradition around here for a few days before Christmas. Okay, so it's only been for 2 years, but it's fun. There's an indoor water park two hours north of us. We go up there for a few days to get out of the cold and pretend we're sitting on a beach somewhere. We have had tons of snow this December, so it was extra nice to be warm for a few days. This year was good, although it ended up in sickness being passed between the adults. Poor dad, Pam's dad, didn't even set foot in the water park. The kids had a blast and Nina would have stayed there all day if I would have let her. In the lobby at Great Wolf Lodge, they have a huge animated clock and it even "snows" a couple of times a day. Not a novelty around here, but cool none the less.

Sounds like a great tradition - especially in cold weather! Sorry about the sickness that was passed around though. :( That's a bummer!
